The only thing that should go into your toilet is pee, poop and toilet paper. Unlike toilet paper, personal hygiene and surface disinfecting wipes do not disintegrate. If wipes come into contact with fats, oil and grease in sewer lines, they can congeal and cause sewage backups into properties and even cause sanitary sewer overflows into the environment. Protect your plumbing and the sanitary sewer system by NOT flushing any type of wipe down toilets or drains. Dental floss, feminine products, condoms, facial tissues, diapers and paper towels can also cause backups and overflows. Please toss all of these items in the trash to keep your household plumbing and our wastewater systems in good working order - keep those wipes out of the pipes!
