Padre Dam Municipal Water District (“Padre Dam” or “District”) is soliciting written proposals from qualified, competent, and experienced firms knowledgeable in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and technology best practices to conduct a GIS Needs Assessment, focusing on operational efficiency.  The District will enter into a professional services agreement with the selected firm to perform an agreed-upon specific scope of services and fees that best meet the needs of Padre Dam Municipal Water District.

Padre Dam utilizes an ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise production deployment that includes ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Data Store. The District’s GIS team currently supports all District GIS activities, including data creation, data management, GIS software support, ArcGIS Online, and Portal for desktop and mobile web maps and applications. The GIS staff is part of the Information Systems workgroup, and the Information Systems Manager supervises their activities.   The current GIS staff consists of a GIS Coordinator and two GIS Specialists.  

This Request for Proposal (RFP) identifies the submission requirements and process that Padre Dam will use to select a firm for its GIS Needs Assessment. The selected firm will be required to execute the Padre Dam Municipal Water District Professional Services Agreement (Attachment 1).  Any exceptions to the Padre Dam Municipal Water District Professional Services Agreement must be included in the RFP submittal package.
