Laura Koval

Laura Koval began as Director of Park and Recreation for Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve in December 2014. Prior to joining the Park staff, Laura was Customer Service Manager for Padre Dam. In addition to her experience with the District, Laura worked for the San Diego Padres assuming many roles over her 25+ year career including oversight of revenue retention, fan loyalty programs, ticket customer services and the contact center. Laura was also Branch Director of the Santee Boys and Girls Club. Laura is a native San Diegan. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from San Diego State University, was captain of the Track and Field team, and is an inductee in the El Capitan High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
